Bar Ristorante Chalet Al Lago

I parked the car in the big square in front of the chalet and, before boarding on the lake, I stopped for a quick lunch. I tasted for the first time the frico (a pleasant discovery) and enjoyed a beer with a view (despite the season, the sun allowed to sit at the tables outside). super fast service, friendly staff and good value for money, as well as of course the panorama!

First we came to the sarg, the waitress looked irritated when I took an additional chair for our table (5 people). then we decided to reserve a table for lunch. when we set ourselves, we waited about 20 minutes to ask another waitress. to get the menu. I can understand that it can be crocheted, but atleast they address the guests or get more employees. they have 4 server for about 15-20 tabs. we ordered pasta carbonara, pasta bolognese and gulash. the bolognese was almost only pasta with barely enough sauce to cover the court. the carbonara didn't taste good. later this day our children had problems due to the carbonara. the sea was good.

We waited for half an hour just to get a menu. the food was not good and the carbonara was the ground for stomac ache and diarea all night for me and my children. never again. price. elaborate.

Terrible service, plastic chairs and tables, hygiene 0, but the worst are toilets -common to both men and women I could handle without any problems, but the dopr can not be locked and Turkish toilet is a luxury!

Got up early to start walking arround Montassio before the summer heat, so we missed the coffee at home this place was the first we noticed to be open on the way, so stopped only for that coffee. excellent location, relaxed atmosphere (only sporty...people from cyclists to mountaineers so early in the morning), two have already been swimming in the lake (it was about 15 deg C, the watter probably similar... the coffee was good, staff still a bit sleepy but ok.
