Trickster Tihane - Tartu

The vegan restaurant is cozy and welcoming. However, the salmon steak in the heart dish was slightly bland, undercooked, and oily. Despite this, the salmon steak itself and the sauce were delicious.

I usually spent time between the classes here, my Estonian homework. it is a beautiful restaurant with a large vegan menu. also there are so many beautiful small shops and caffeine close to, it is really worth visiting!

On Monday night, four of us went to the restaurant. Unfortunately, three out of the four dishes we wanted were sold out. We had to wait an hour and thirty minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was only 70% full when we arrived. When we finally got our meals, the fries were undercooked and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still not cooked properly. The seafood pasta was overcooked.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant, and the ambiance is cozy. The vegan soup I ordered was disappointing, as it only contained coconut milk and two small mushrooms. It lacked flavor and substance, tasting more like warm water than a nourishing dish.

The one star does not refer to the food, since I wasn't served. I sat down, the waitress came up to me, instead of hello she rudely told me there is no more vegan lunch (not that I wanted vegan lunch), then left me. Several minutes later I decided to leave as well.
