Blue Hill At Stone Barns - Tarrytown

Our first experience at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. We arrived early a bit after 10am to sample something from the breakfast menu. We wandered the grounds and buildings to fill time waiting for our Lunch Tray reservation at 12 noon. Beautiful facility exteriors and grounds with interior spaces that are void of warmth and completely reject their location. They 're inside a historic 1930 's barn/farm buildings. The Caffeteria looks like a Classroom in a progressive elementary school. Perfectly disappointing. Terrain by Urban Outfitters understood the assignment when retrofitting historic farm spaces for dining/retail use. Warm, Cozy modern farmhouse...Special. Or as the kids say Insta ready. The alacarte breakfast items we sampled were good. Our over $50 per person Lunch Tray was delicious, but portions were small. Vegetarian options: Perhaps the kitchen will assist. Dietary restrictions: Call in advance. Parking: Plenty of parking in lot close to public spaces. Kid-friendliness: No. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Great access in exterior spaces. The Caffeteria is accessible as is the restrooms.
