Toma Que Toma - Tarragona

We decided on a mid afternoon unday snack and randomly chose this restaurant from the many in Placa del Forum. It proved to be a great choice. The beer was ice cold, the cava was enjoyable and the food was delicious. All delivered with impeccable service and a smile. We will be back.

A cozy and family bar. the food of that beautiful square is almost the same in all the bars, if we talk about quality and price but its wine list is delicious.

Ordered the special (plat du jour) pork hamburger e9.95. 1 bread bun with bottled tomate sauce 1 slice of tomato, a bit of slow cooked pork.WITH canned tiny potatoes covered with a slice of prepacked singles cheese, served in a recycled creme brulee dish and microwaved. My wife had the sardine salad e10.50. A real treat with canned sardines, canned corn and some luttece. Volume, entree size. Two beers My hamburger was charged e14.00 as it became part of the à la carte Menu as I was eating it. Other tables appeared to also be surprised with the addition Not a good image for a first impression of Taragona. Give this one a big miss. Bad experience

Admiring the streets of tarragona, found a small place hidden from the world waiting to be discovered. locals know this place and keep it away from tourist. they sit in a small bar and was welcome by nice waitress who spoke well English also tho I speak Spanish, I let them speak English: tapas and wee served here, simple but full of taste and fresh, as the sweet just leave the garden. beautiful service and beautiful location. place to come back. just keep it a secret:
