Highland - Tarragona

After pay 30 euros, i need to smoke, however the personal of highland can't permet me to enter because they need fresh people and they mustn't my entrence

I went there with a couple of friends on a friday night, looking for a party. Indeed there was a good time to be had, but we got escorted out by the bouncers not long after entering. From what my friend later told me, the waitress at the bar didn't understand what he was trying to order as she didn't speak English, so she notioned to one of the guys at the door to show him out. To be clear, he was not in a drunken state or being generally obtrusive. To their credit, their manner in this action was polite and the head security guy apologized as he wasn't sure what the misunderstanding was, and mentioned that we should come back some other night. Otherwise it looks like a nice daytime pub with a larger dance area in the back and I would probably like to return to get a different view of it.

Open to late, good choice of beers and spirits, nice relaxed bar Monday to Wednesday, becomes busy on a Thursday and the rear opens as a night club. Prices OK, definately worth a visit.

With it's slightly bizarre mix of Irish and American memerobillia this has absolutely nothing to do with Scotland (although we did see a teenager with a sporran once, nowt else traditional, just a sporran over his jeans)! We've been here a few times for a pint at the end of the night and find it to be a pleasant pub whilst we've been there it's had a good mix of pop, rock and indie with a lot of 80s music yesssssss. It's does a good mix of beers. It does have pretty hilarious clientele lots of teenagers very good for people watching. The dance room doesn't open until 11 or midnight and that's when it gets really interesting but we tend to be leaving then. We haven't eaten here or actually seen anyone eat here but believe they do burgers and chips.

Line dancing?? Found that a bit unusual for Spain, but, whatever brings people in I guess. Nice bar. Barman could have been more interested. Reasonable price for beers.
