Contribuiți la feedbackI had a dinner here with my wife end of July. This restaurant does not boast of a spectacular location. Just forget about the sea, the beach and romantic sunsets. Come here if you've finished enjoying a evening walk around Tarquinia old town and its Etruscan legacy. Here you will find a genuine cuisine and, what really matters, fresh fish. I had a delicious starter with sea food crudities, a mouth watering tonnarelli all'astice as never had before and a skilfully prepared impepata di cozze, the mussels were fresh and fleshy. The wine list is not endless but you will find a good quality/price balance. Definetely a place to try again this winter.
We asked in town where to have a good lunch? Peter wanted fish and Anna chose the meat. The locals (and the signs on the road to the station) call it Da Mondino. The name is Al Passo del Cacciatore da Mondino. Antipasto, main course, water, quarter litre wine and coffee. € 30 each. The food is well cooked but nothing outstanding. Very popular with Italian families and business men. Thought it pricey but Peter thought the fish dishes that he ate were excellent.
