Mr Souvlaki - Tarpon Springs

We've been getting take out from here for years but I'm not giving them another penny. Greek salad was drowning in dressing and the lettuce was wilted as if it had been sitting for a day. Three gyros and one had a very soggy pita to the point it was disintegrating, the other two had rock hard pitas. Thankfully there are no shortages Greek restaurants in town.

We've been loyal customers of this restaurant for years when it was located at the docks. The new location is nice, but for the first time, we were quite disappointed with the food. The Spanakopita was a generous portion, but it seemed to have been microwaved or reheated, leaving the filo dough tasting like inedible cardboard. My gyro was... just okay. When I brought this up to our waiter, he simply shrugged it off. There was no offer to have the owner come over to discuss my concerns or to address the bill. Clearly, things have changed a bit.

As for accessibility, the restaurant is very accommodating for those in wheelchairs. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

The food was fantastic and definitely worth trying. I visited for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top marks – 5 out of 5! Highly recommended!

This is my go to place for gyros that's what I always get. Like it here because they are very generous with the amount of meat they put on their sandwiches. There is no way you can get your mouth around the amount of meat they give. So if I'm in the mood for gyros and I'm in the area that's where I go 100% of the time.
