Amazing and unmissable experience whether you are vegan (and into permaculture) or not. Gabo and Akos are great hosts. We loved our stay!

A very special experience, not comparable to an average restaurant. The food was very, very delicious, and the non-vegan members of the company did not experience it as a compromise at all. It is worth checking in on time (a few days in advance) and setting aside a few hours. I definitely recommend it! Vegetarian options: All food is vegan, and they can provide a gluten-free option if you let us know in advance.

Special and unique experience. First of all, Gabo and Akos are amazing hosts. We went for a Sunday lunch. First, Gabo served soup, then we tasted various seasonal flowers and plants from her garden, with home made leavened bread. Disclosure: we are not vegans and had a blast. The main was tofu, with komchi, brown rice, and many other delicious items. Also, Akos brought some really neat local wines. Then, we got invited for an orchid “hunt” walk on Tokaj hill. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience for vegans and non-vegans as well!

A special and under the radar experience in Tarcal that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in a unique and authentic way to spend an evening in the village. You will be greeted with a friendly atmosphere and inviting hosts along with knowledgeable and insightful discussion on a variety of topics. Just be sure to book in advance!
