I came on the long weekend around 3pm and there were a lot of people. We didn't have so much of issue with the food serving time. What I didn't quite like was the amount of rubbish mainly tissue on the floor and the toilet was dirty. Somehow it just don't feel hygienic and towards the end of the meal, we found a black insect inside our vegetables. The owner told us they will offset the price but we felt really uncomfortable. Anyway, I gotta say their Kong po eel is good stuff. Chewy texture and the Kong po sauce enters the eel well. The rest of the dish were average
Good food. Reasonable prices…. Only issue is not enough ventilation during a hot day
One of my favourite place to stop by to have lunch when I am on the way to Kuala Lumpur. It is just a few minutes away after exiting the Tapah toll from the North-South Expressway. It is always crowded during the noon hours, but I believe it is worth the wait. I tried the steamed fish, the Kung Po eel, the veges are good as well. Will always be my favourite when I travel to KL.
We stop by here for lunch before heading uphill to Cameron Highlands. We arrived at 2pm, off peak but the restaurant is still busy. Got attended within 1 minute after sitting down, they served us foc rose apples too. Our foods served within 10min after order. Our sambal udang petai [15] is super delicious, a lot of petai in it, very worth the price we paid. The sweet and sour pork [15] comes in big portion, and nice. We came back here for early dinner the next day. Service was fast too. We had spring onion ginger fish fillet [24], spinach soup [15] and sweet and sour pork [15] again. It was a very satisfying dinner. Minus 1 star for the environment: flies, really annoying. All in all, highly recommended. we will come back again!
