A little expensive for tapachula, but upright value according to US standards. I had a beautiful glass of Malbec, fillet with sides, dessert and a 27-year-old rum for less than 1,000 pesos. There were three parties active with big tables, but it still didn't feel crowded. I'll return to Tapachula the next time.
The place is okay, not a very beautiful place. it is a great space, with plenty of space between tables (fantastic by the way, I hate it, near other tables!! The service is ok, not the best service ever, but a good service for the price. The food was good, not excellent, but then again the quality was ok, the price was ok
An air-conditioned restaurant. The largest fillet steak I've ever eaten served with very small but tasty secondary dishes! Really delicious, but a little expensive for the area.
Coming in from hot street was a blessing. Cool air with fans circulating it. Nice welcome greeting from the staff. An excellent complimentary appetizer of sautéed fresh mushrooms with shrimp and good seasoning. Excellent bread basket. Beef is Argentinian and seasoned well but a little stringy. My ribeye was more medium rare than medium well but well enough not to bother with returning it to kitchen. I'm sure they would gladly have done so had I asked. Side dish of mashed potatoes was very good and a nice green salad dressed the plate. Glassed in kitchen is at front of restaurant great grill. Immaculate. Service was very good. We did not have dessert. Friendly, helpful staff.
The provoleta was below average. The meat was excellent. The wine choice was wide, but expensive. The staff was polite and professional. The place itself is far below the quality of the food and should be completely refurbished.
