Dell Villa Angela - TAORMINA

I can't rate this hotel high enough. the hotel is located in the hills of taormina, it is a jewel in Sicily krone. due to the pandemic we waited 3 years to finally get our vacation and we were not disappointed. the hotel is immaculately clean, well maintained with large rooms, effective air cone and large balcony. the pool is beautiful with enough beds for everyone. breakfast and lunch was great (we had dinner every night in the city.) there is an additional shuttle bus back and forth to the city during the day. it is worth pointing out that they can go, but the gradient is very steep and not for the weak hearts. above all, is the most brilliant aspect of the service. the team of va is so friendly, proaktiw and helpful. they do everything for you, nothing is too much annoyed. many stops were regular returners because of this and I can understand why. I can't recommend very much.

When we stayed the evening restaurant was not open. Tried the involtini with swordfish for lunch delicious and had the mixed cheese charcuterie platter several times. All unpretentious, top quality, good food and happy friendly service.

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Angela owned by Jim Kerr (Simple Minds), with the restaurant managed by his very capable Nephew. We arrived a little early for lunch but were well looked after with coffee and homemade tarts, which was delightful. We had lunch here after reading a national magazine article. As we were visiting on a cruise ship, it was a short taxi ride from Naxus. I selected King Prawn, which were not only delicious but enormous! My wife had a Pasta dish which she raved about. I had a local beer which was of good quality and my wife a rare S.Pellegrino flavoured water. The Bill was an attractive price for lunch. I intend to visit again , but stay for a week !

Great hotel! excellent service. the agent of the reception remembered my two-year-old names and greeted them each time with names. she liked it. all we met were very welcome. the breakfast was great, a lot of variety. I love the fresh fruit! breathtaking view. I would definitely recommend to all my friends this hotel. also the shuttle to the city was excellent!
