Chez Jean de la Pipe - Taninges

We were there for a last ski weekend or no... It is a beautiful place to choose. We were under three suns, so the terrace was the perfect place to be on the side with the view of the mountain. Yes, it... is next to a parking lot, but you simply forget it bcse of warm service and beautiful typical local and French dishes. I had the so French bounty (blood sausage), which was nicely cool and could feel, was made a regional. As the boiled apple and purée.. I love it! My family had a nice beef Angus piece, and cheese plate. You were very happy. The interior is very beautiful and typical with a place that sets the real mountain and regional design.

Great terrace, nice interior, friendly service The quality of the food varies. The local dishes are quite greasy, so definitely not to be eaten every day ... Meat from the hot stone or bbq always delicious! Prices are reasonable.

We always make a point of at least one visit, either to enjoy a Leffe on the terrace or for a great Savoyarde lunch. This time we had a lunch indoors by the fire too picture perfect experience.

Great service, lovely decor, friendly and exciting. This was a highlight for us! We returned each afternoon for drinks and for our 'big ' dinner on Sunday. Would book though, its very popular, which is another great sign.

Panorama grandiose...personnel très sympa...cuisine raffinée...prix intermédiaire...chien accepté...terrasse bien protégée...Faites comme moi tous les ans je m'y pose pour déjeuner au calme.
