Samuel Barlow Bar Restaurant - Tamworth

If for a beautiful walk along the canal with the family. at half a point on the samuel barlow. only had sides of chips with dips, cheesy chips and wobble ring. really nice portion sizes and also cheap. a good selection of ales too. a great stop.

I just got back from a wonderful weekend in Alvcote, and I have to say that the Samual Barlow pub is absolutely outstanding. The food is fantastic, and the staff, managed competently by Madam Barlow, are wonderful. Guests receive a warm welcome as soon as they arrive, and even though the staff is young, their service is exceptional. I can't wait to return again and again. Keep up the great work, everyone!

We have eaten here a few times, and the food is good—homemade and served in generous portions. It can get busy, so sometimes you might wait a while for your meal, but it's definitely worth it. The restaurant's location by the canal and marina creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

This restaurant offers fantastic food, quick service, and reasonable prices. It's also dog-friendly, which is a plus. The location is lovely, making it a perfect stop during a walk along the canal. I will definitely return; it’s a delightful little gem.
