Vallarta's Mexican Carrollwood - Tampa

We used to love coming to Vallarta, but it has gone downhill so much! The meats were dried out, their tortillas were not crispy, but chewy from setting out too long, she was beyond sick, and certainly notable, and their customer service is questionable at best. I ordered the happy hour margarita and was charged $9.50. When I told him at the register, he said the prices the same for one or two. I said I only got one I was supposed to get two and it never came… He said it’s the same price! $9.50 for a 4 ounce margarita? I don’t think so!! The buffet sat without getting replenished after 12:30…the lunch buffet ends at 2pm! Avoid this place at all costs!

Nice Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. Service was good and my chicken quesadilla was just o.k., but others in my group liked their food a lot. We shared a pitcher of Margaritas that were not very tasty.

The “quesadillas” I got was actually an uncut, soggy tortilla folded in half. Customer service here is nonexistent. Technically the food was edible so 1 Star seemed too harsh.

Anything you order seems to fill the table !The food is plentiful and delicious!Well worth any price!Try the shrimp cocktail, a meal by itself full of flavor and so many shrimp!The service was excellent and we went on Sunday night and they had an excellent guiter player who sang for you!I told my wife i found my new favorite restaurant in Tampa!!

Met with some friends. Service was good as were the drinks. I was disappointed in my grilled chicken and bacon quesidilla. The tortilla looked greasy. And the meat was not very tasty. Others at the table seemed to enjoy their food.
