Rise Kitchen Deli (in Seminole Hard Rock Tampa)

Me and my wife and two daughters enjoyed an amazing meal coupled with amazing service at Cipresso in The Hard Rock Casino Seminole. I enjoyed the most savory lamb chops while my wife and daughters enjoyed gourmet pizzas. The Nona 's Meatballs were the perfect starter, and the macchiato martinis quenched our palate. Our young girls enjoyed their non alcoholic Shirley Temple and Bramble both fruity and delicious! The night was made perfect by our server Bre . She was easy going and friendly, very informative, and great with our girls. The one thing that will prevent us from making another visit is the ever present smoke wafting into the restaurant from the casino floor. It would be great if they could wall off the restaurant from the main floor of the casino. If you can stand the smoke, you definitely will love Cipresso!

I went to check-in around 8:05PM for my 8:30PM reservation on Wednesday 02/08/23. I dined at Council Oak Steaks Seafood on Tuesday night, which is Always Outstanding, and wanted to try Cipresso because some of the Hotel Staff recommended the restaurant. The Casino Hosts gave me recommendations, and informed me how good the Meatballs and the Veal Entree were. I approached the Blonde Hostess because I stood there Five minutes, and I was not greeted. She was very rude and dismissive. She stated, We are sticking to reservations times right now. I informed and assured her that I was not trying to get in early... just wanted to give her the courtesy of letting her know that I was there. I walked away, and thought about her rude and dismissive attitude. I walked back, and informed her that I would be cancelling my reservation. I told her that I would go to Council Oak Steaks and Seafood where the Customer Service and Food is Amazing!!! She looked like she could careless. I refuse to spend my money where I am not Appreciated. I opted to go back to Council Oak Steaks Seafood. I had canceled my 8:45 PM reservation with them, and I explained to them what happened at Cipresso. Not only did the Manager David get me in without a reservation.... he got me my Favorite Waiter Matthew!!! That is what I expect from any Dining establishment on Seminole property.... Amazing Customer Service.... Going Above and Beyond!!!! I ordered My 8oz Japanese Waygu Steak and it was Awesome!!! I am Happy that Council Oak Steaks Seafood values me as a Customer!!! Cipresso may need to have someone up front who actually greets the guests, and is Warm and welcoming!!! It appears that the Hostess was overwhelmed, and may have been having a bad day and/or week!!! That should never be taken out on a guest. I wish I could give this 0 stars!!!! Let me start with we made reservation for 5PM arrived at 4:47pm and was told by the hostess to come back at 5. It’s not what she said but how she said it .. We dine here every time we stay at the casino but this is the first time I felt like the hostess could have done a better job of being a hostess- Ms K. A smile and less altitude please ma’am. The score would have been higher but the hostess altitude affected the score . Service: Dine in

Really enjoyed the tomato salad and calamari. Mushroom pizza was also good, meatballs not so much.

The saddest $42 I’ve ever spent. After reading through reviews I went with the lobster ravioli. It seems as though the sauce that was supposed to save this bland dish was not even close to what it was supposed to be. Instead of a sherry cream sauce I received a watery oil mess. The lobster ravioli was full of lobster but no flavor, just like the large amount of shaved bland fennel that was piled on top. Not one hint of sherry could even be detected. After dropping hints to the server (all were ignored) it became clear that this is what they’re used to putting out. They’ll just box up your entire meal like it’s a normal occurrence and won’t bother to ask what was wrong that you couldn’t eat it. Took it home and made my own sauce.After looking at other photos of this dish I can’t even believe what was served to me and treated as normal. I literally had a clear oil/water mixture with ravioli floating in it and nothing close to a red sauce the same dish appears in the photos of others reviews on here. GROSS.
