Pokeys - Tampa

I was short. The service was great by Caitlyn, my waitress. I wounded getting a HRH (delicious) and some nachos. If you are in downtown Tampa, check this place.

Randomly stopped by this place one day, and became repeat customers instantly. Friendly staff, easygoing environment, and the food is what you’d expect from a bar: simple. The staff, and even patrons, are very engaging, and you will definitely meet someone cool and interesting! Look for the sign that says “Cold Beer Here”. That’s what actually grabbed our attention...

This restaurant is amazing. As it’s a combo of a bar and food. It is family friendly. The wings are great and homemade burgers are to DIE FOR. They have a great selection of drinks and food on the menu. It’s a great place for a quick bite or a casual evening of socializing.

If I could give zero stars I would. We popped in this evening to grab a few drinks while downtown. We walked in and got zero acknowledgement. No worries though, it’s a bar. However, we never got served. Like at all. We sat there for about 10 minutes and no bartender or server came out way. A few minutes later a group of four guys walked in and the server rushed right over to them. Interesting. We ended up just leaving. When we got up another group looked at us, realized what had happened and shook their head. They said they didn’t blame us. I’d never recommend this place to anyone! The service is trash!

I enjoyed my weekend here. The drinks were great. We stumbled at a party. It was Poppin in there. The dj played all the right songs.
