My first dish was the lentil soup which was smooth and balanced and literally had me saying wow . Then they brought out the mixed grill platter (pictured) which has chicken, lamb, and beef kababs with rice and fresh vegetables; the meats were perfectly spiced, tender, and all uniquely delicious. I also had the Iraqi bread with garlic butter which wasmouthwatering, and the baba ganoush which was creamy and delicious as ever. This was my first time eating Iraqi food and the owner was very helpful in making sure I ordered something I liked. Also the food came out hot and reasonably fast.I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to spice up your life!
Wonderful food and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices too. If you are looking for Middle Eastern food, especially Halal food and are in the Tampa area then would highly recommend Khan Marjan
A stone is gone from the adventurous parks. we ordered the mixed plate, the chicken kebab sandwich, the Iraqi brot w/ garlic and butter, and the hummus bark appetizer. everything was super tasteful and the staff was friendly. 10/10.
You know the places you enter, and you are greeted with a warm smile and you know immediately that eating is going well. that's all! I heard with a friend who eats them recently. they have seating areas both inside and outside, we have decided on the inside because it had rained. we ordered the fried red snapper, garlic bread and the gurken and olive salad. when I told them that the red snap was delicious, it was DE-LICIOUS! more than enough to eat for two people. it was really fried. the skin was beautiful and crispy and the inner was juicy and flocky as I like it. that usually eat really fresh with a lot of taste. that eat tasted as if it had been made with love that I can really appreciate as food. they are really close to bush gardens so I highly recommend when they are in the opposite to give them a try. even if you don't, try them! I don't often give 5 stars, but this place was definitiw abhorred! I'm absolutely back.
I found this place on yelp. we arrived at 11:45 on Tuesday morning after 30 minutes drive there. yelp had a 12:00 opening for lunch. After waiting for 20 minutes, I checked yelp again and they showed that they should be open. at 12:10 I called. a man answered the phone and I asked if they were still open as it was after the posted time. he said they would probably open at 12:30. very disappointing. directly above the street was another restaurant with the name petra. what a great place. we had a wonderful lunch. the service was before place and the food was delicious.
