International Cafe - Tampa

I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch, but I felt compelled to write a review this time because the food was absolutely amazing! I ordered a delicious beef, beans, and rice burrito and took home some rotisserie chicken, both from their lunch special. The meat was so tender it just fell off the bone and practically melted in my mouth. A big shoutout to Chef Eddy for the incredible food and to Julie for providing excellent customer service!

Don?t order food from this place unless you like eating roaches

The portion size was quite generous for the price—I could barely finish my sandwich! I wasn’t sure if it came with a side of chips or not, but honestly, they weren’t necessary. One issue I often have with pressed Cubans is that the tomatoes and lettuce become soggy when pressed together. Fortunately, they put all the cold ingredients (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, and mustard) on after the sandwich is pressed, which really improved the flavor. I hope that if I return, I can have a similar experience.

I've ordered breakfast and coffee from this restaurant several times through Grubhub, and there's always a coupon available. The food consistently arrives hot and delicious. They really pay attention to your comments and are extremely accommodating. My favorite orders are the bacon breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread and the large Cafe Mocha made with almond milk, an extra shot, and extra mocha sauce—it's absolutely divine. I highly recommend this place!
