Harborside Gril - Tampa

Little mom and pop just before the causeway. Don't be scared away by the appearance, tons of locals here. The construction on the road made it difficult to pull in but it was worth the effort. <br/ <br/ The birthday girl waitress was friendly and attentive.<br/ <br/ 2 eggs over easy, sausage patties, grits, Cuban toast.<br/ The sausage patties are hand formed and tasty. But the must have is the Cuban toast!!! So toothy, crispy and delicious. The grits were salted well.<br/ <br/ Really liked the coffee, so much better than what I expected from a diner. I drink mine black, this is legit.<br/ <br/ My buddy Jason Saltsman got the bacon, 4 slices!! He said it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing

Stop every time we are in Tampa. Go for the deviled crab. Best I have found in years. Place is packed, but they are nice and get you out quickly. Good sandwiches and will try breakfast soon.

Best food in Tampa. Was there 3 weeks for work, the food and hospitity here got me threw the weeks. Always loomed forward to eating here. Nothing comes close to it in Tampa. Yes the Cornbread is to die for!!!

Great lunch spot for authentic Cuban food. Be sure to check the board for daily specials! Very friendly staff, very good food.
