Gonzo's Sandwich Shop - Tampa

Gonzo’s Sandwich Shop in Tampa might be new, but they’re making sandwiches like a pro.  The small sandwich shop in a small strip mall on Himes makes all meats ‘in-house’ and that definitely got our attention of these two Tampa Foodies. It was a rainy day and on my way back from running a few errands, I decided to stop in and try Gonzo’s Sandwich Shop.  The inside is small with a few tables for dine-in as well as a small patio for additional seating.

The West Tampa...nothing more to say. Could be the best sandwich in town. This will be a regular lunch spot for me for sure.  Owner is passionate about the food and it shows.

Great Lunch Spot. I had the West Tampa Sandwich. It was fantastic. You can really taste that the roast pork is made in house. I will be back for sure.

The West Tampa, Great Non-Traditional Cuban. Home made ham, home made corned beef and braised pork. What else could you ask for!
