Eddie V's Tampa

Service was very good in spite of the very busy restaurant. So many great choices for food. The warm goat cheese salad was excellent and the South African tails were some of the best I have ever had.

As with the last time we chose Eddie V’s, our only disappointment was the hostess. I neglected to ask for a booth when I made the reservation and assumed that since we were to be seated at 5:00 pm it would be an easy request to accommodate. My wife asked the hostess when we arrived and felt she was ignored. We’re still likely to return because our server, Kat, made the dining experience enjoyable.

We ordered a parmesan sole like we always order at Eddie V 's in Orlando. To our surprise, the amount of fish on the plate was less than half of what is usually served at the Orlando store. We were disappointed and told the waiter about it. She ordered another free. Anyway, disappointing and I 'm sure: Eddie V 's in Tampa never came back.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. It's never disappointed! The service is always excellent. It would have been a 5-star rating, but our Calamari today was a bit too gum-like. But the flavors were really good. We ordered a bone in Ny stripes boiled medium with a Caesar salad, crab fried rice and lobster potatoes that were all amazing! The lobster mashed is absolutely my favorite thing on her menu. Ordered a children's menu for my little one and was satisfied with everything it was with. It's a 4 course for children. Selection of fruit or salad for the main course there are several options such as chicken cake, Mac and cheese, Sirloin and roasted shrimp plus one side and it contains dessert. Now for adults, the banana feeder cake is a must! It's absolutely delicious. We also tried Crème brûlée. Overall we were satisfied.

Very good experience as always. Good atmosphere, good food, good service.
