We were invited here by a friend. The eggrolls, grouper, potatoes were really good and the asparagus would have been good if they were hot. We asked the waiter to please have them heated and once again he served them cold and said they were having problems with the microwave, which I think was a poor excuse, cause as a manager I immediately would have sent someone to the store nearby and bought one. The key lime pie was also good. If we go next time, I will call ahead and find out if you are having issues in the kitchen before we go again. Also, you need to have more spaces for disabled people in the parking lot. THE TOTAL BILL WAS OVER $256.00
We also enjoyed some warm pretzel bread, which was fantastic—light and soft with an amazing flavor, served with whipped butter. It's easy to fill up on the appetizers and bread alone. Next, we had a soup featuring lobster, crab, and shrimp in a warm, creamy bisque. I highly recommend dipping the pretzel bread in it—trust me, you won't regret it! For the main course, we tried a variety of risottos, all of which were excellent, well-cooked, and served promptly. The service was generally good, but it did slow down a bit as the restaurant became busier, and we had to flag down our waiter to settle the bill. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!
A group of us gathered for a late lunch at Cooper's Hawk today to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everyone ordered appetizers, entrees, and even flights of wine. Overall, the food was quite good (as seen in the pictures), except for my choices. I had the lobster bisque and the fish and chips for my entree. The bisque should have been called a stew because it included mirepoix, which was not mentioned on the menu. This was disappointing and not what I had expected. The fish and chips were quite underwhelming as well, resembling something from a children's menu: six fish sticks served with soggy, cold fries. It definitely wasn't worth the price. While the overall experience was enjoyable for everyone else, I unfortunately had a different experience.
Always love going to Cooper's Hawk. I do wish they wouldn't have such a high turn-over of Wine Bar staff.
