Box Of Cubans - Tampa

I always rely on this place for freshly made empanadas in the Riverview area. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I was thrilled to see two new menu items - the bacon egg and cheese and the sausage egg and cheese empanadas are both absolutely delicious!

I'm sorry, but I have to be honest - the beef empanada and Cuban sandwich at this restaurant were not good. The beef and cheese in the empanada were terrible, and the Cuban sandwich was also disappointing.

The food at Box of Cubans is consistently delicious! Their NY Style Blueberry Muffin is especially enjoyable, as it is sliced in half and cooked on both sides. Their breakfast sandwiches are also incredibly tasty!

PRO: If youre looking for a good Cuban sandwich, youre at the right spot. The empanadas are perfectly flakey. CON: the sandwich isnt dressed up additions like lettuce and tomato are $0.75 each. The black beans rice had a super overwhelming taste of garlic.

Im actually very upset that my orange juice was almost $6 and this is how big the cup was! Sandwhich was good just wish I had more juice to wash it down with
