Bizou Brasserie - Tampa

Service was great. French toast was okay. the eier benedikt was great.

The food was excellent, the service was pleasing, and the building has a fantastic atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit!

To my surprise, the dish arrived on a plate that was about the size of a child's fist, and it was dry but tasty. It had only eight kernels of corn surrounding it! I asked our server, Neal, who was fantastic. He went to check with the cook, who said this was how it was served for $16. The kale salad was delicious, and everything else was good with nice portion sizes. It was just so bizarre. Anyway, we would definitely go back. The people were super nice, and the service was great—just not a fan of the black bean dish!

I went to the restaurant specifically for the short ribs, but unfortunately they were out of them. I ended up trying the boar dish, which isn't really my thing. However, others in my group seemed to have a great time.

Had an early evening pre theater dinner that tasted amazing. Tried the Boar shank that was recommended by the staff and so glad we ordered, this fall off the bone meat had been cooked for 3 days with all the right ingredients lending to an outstanding flavor. Highly recommend! The chocolate souffle torte with caramel ice cream was very light and tasty.
