Asia - Tampa

It’s only been open for a little over two weeks so... 1. Parking- valet not available and only 10 spots or so available therefore we spent 10min looking for street parking 2. Layout- no hostess stand; unsure where the stand is going to be set up or how they are going to check off reservations. There is no clear path in or out to get to tables so you are walking between tables to get to your seat. 3 bars? 3. Menu- no drink menu yet?; Many things on the food menu not available yet 4. Service- my husband was eating for a good 7min before my sushi came out I was staring at it, sitting on the counter for about 5min). 5. Staff- waitress was holding her pens in her cleavage. The staff doesn’t really have a uniform besides wearing black. At a dinner establishment showing too much cleavage or your entire midriff is not appropriate 6. Food- rice bowl was good. Sushi was ok. They let it sit on the counter way too long before serving.

The address should be Cleveland, not Howard. While the Howard address is cooler, you can’t access parking from Howard. The food was unexceptional and the service was confused! Probably won’t be back.

The restaurant had only been open for a short time, so it was not very busy. We tried the wings, tacos, and fresh bowl. The wings had to much breading on them for our taste. When you took a bite all you got was breading. The tacos were good and the fresh bowl was excellent. Parking is a bit of a problem. We were early so we were able to park right at the restaurant. We will definitely try them again.

Our server was very accommodating and attentive. but the actual food service was very slow. The food we ordered was mediocre and not worth the price. Techno/club music was being played loudly inside on a Wednesday night at 745 which isn’t what I was expecting during dinner (yes I realize the name of the restaurant includes the word BAR). I am not sure if I would try dining here again.

Best Sushi in Tampa! Awesome new spot in the heart of South Tampa! Restaurant is new and clean. Food was amazing and service was quick and friendly.
