Ana Delicias Bakery - Tampa

Order a cake for my sons. I ordered it 3 weeks before the time. the week before my request to confirm that the cake would be ready to the agreed time. 9 o'clock. they said no, 14 o'clock. I'm like I just asked about 9 because it's a childbirth day and we need it early. because this is a Dominican cake place. I specifically asked that it be done with suspiro. they called me the day and said no, they can't have done it with suspiro, it must be made with whip cream or butter. I specifically asked how it was made in the Dominican Republic. they have made whip. absolutely not the same type of cake at all. we get it home and the food coloring is hanging on the fingers as soon as they touched it. we cuddle the cake and it tastes like an old two-week cake. an absolute catastrophe. I am sure I would have done a better job to see a YouTube video and make the cake itself. they stay away and go somewhere else.

We live in Bradenton and this bakery is almost an hour away. My husband was looking for an authentic Dominican cake for my birthday. He called last minute and spoke to the baker directly to order my 30th birthday cake. The cake was a surprise, but I found out afterwards that it was from this bakery. The dulce de leche flavor was amazing, and the frosting was sweet but not overpowering. We will definitely be ordering custom cakes from them in the future.

I ordered from door dash and was here personally a d they have the best desserts and sandwiches. I can tell them if they love sweets and dark chocolate cup cakes, they have to come here. they will also love the nourishing and sweet owners and employees. everyone makes them welcome and comfortable. you will love it!

I regret not checking the reviews before ordering the dry and flavorless cake from this bakery. I was disappointed to bring it to my meeting. Not only was it expensive, but even my 5-year-old could have made a better cake with a simple oven and cake mix. The Sahara desert is moister than the cake I purchased here. I recommend going elsewhere, as any other place would be better. Save your money and go to Walmart for a better cake.

I absolutely adored my Dominican cake. The restaurant is lovely and clean, with beautifully decorated interiors!
