Acropolis- New Tampa

Absolutely the best Greek food I ever had! I can't wait to go back to the restaurant. our waiter could not have been better!

We drove 40 minutes to silvester because I had kept on opentable and we got there to say that they had a special event and couldn't serve us. I called twice on the way there to make sure that the reservation was good as it was a holiday, but the number publicly published on opentable and google goes directly on voicemail. they hostess said that they cannot control the open table system to close reservations for the day. completely unacceptable! we drove in the rain, 40 minutes, hungry, just to turn away.

Food was very good but service was poor. Took an hour to get our entree and got our salad last. Waitress was rushed and kept forgetting our plates, silverware, etc. we arrived just before 6:00 pm and there were only a few customers. Don’t know why service was so slow. Doubt if we will return.

Acropolis is a must go to, when I go to Tampa. The Acropolis Salad is a great Greek Salad with a Gyro on top.

Awesome for date night. Everyone was welcoming when we came in. Our server was very attentive and did an amazing job. They have outside seating will air conditioning.
