Rendezvous Cafe - Tameside

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The cheese pie was tasty, and my husband loved the hotpot. Unfortunately, the chips were frozen instead of using real potatoes, but I understand that many places do the same. The fact that the tables were full speaks for itself.

Visited this restaurant today with my family after a year of being abroad. It was nice to see the familiar staff, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with my toasted tea cake. Despite repeatedly asking for it, it arrived 20 minutes later burnt and inedible in some parts. Providing a properly toasted tea cake should not be a difficult task. I believe the kitchen staff should step up and improve their treatment of customers and the quality of the meals they serve.

The Potato Leek Soup lacked flavor and the bread was extremely hard. It was clear that the bread had not been freshly baked that day. Overall, this dining experience was very disappointing.

During lunchtime, this cafe tends to get quite crowded, which is no surprise given the delicious and nutritious food they serve.

Lovely staff and very good quality food I always get a breakfast and is always so tasty! They do homemade pies and scones and hot pot which is probably the best I’ve ever tasted .. Lovely atmosphere and I would definitely come again simply because it’s the nicest cafe I’ve been too in a long time. I promise it will be worth your while :
