Beacon Diner - Tamaqua

My honey-dipt chicken was too long in the frittier! service was good and my fiancé had the Greek sampler she enjoyed and the service was good.

Wow, eating was amazing, and the service was also great.

We met my sister and my brother here to come together for the holiday. it is a medium way. we have chosen a fantastic restaurant. the host was nice, eating was fabulous and liz our serverwachs a . breakfast is available throughout the day.

The service here is horribly slow; it is currently 90% empty, so a busy service isn't the reason. Burgers don't come with fries, instead the come with a tiny bag of cape cod potato chips; the menu doesn't reflect this and when we asked the server if the burgers came with fries she said they came with chips which implied freshly cooked hot chips not a bag of potato chips. The inside appears worn and in need of an update AND major renovation. I'm my honest opinion stay away, there are better options like the McDonald's next door.

Sundays are way to busy, food was undercooked. The server was awesome and brought it back to be fixed, would go again but try and pick a less busy day. Food was decent. I wanna try again, has potential.
