Marie Livingston's Texas Steakhouse And Saloon

Marie Livingston's pleasantly surprised me. The decor, lighting, and overall dining experience were all well executed. I had a reservation, but it took a bit longer to get seated due to a large party ahead of me. I also felt they were quite busy, so I wasn't welcomed upon entering. Nonetheless, the staff were very friendly. I appreciated the cozy and dim atmosphere in the restaurant. I ordered the 10oz ribeye with a grilled veggie kabob, which came with a salad and a roll. To be honest, the salad and roll were the standout dishes for me. The ranch dressing tasted homemade, and the roll was served with a delicious creamy honey butter. The steak was also very good, enhanced by a special sauce that added a lot of flavor. While the steaks are a bit pricey, the rest of the menu is reasonably priced. I would definitely return.

After reading the online reviews, we had high expectations, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. My wife's filet was excellent, although her baked potato was slightly undercooked, and the salad was just mediocre. My signature 20oz bone-in ribeye was very fatty and had bits of gristle, which made it unpleasant to eat. The service also left much to be desired; we had to ask multiple times for cutlery and drink refills.

The steak had quite a bit of fat on it, which affected the overall experience. While the grinding time was only partially acceptable, our waiter provided excellent service. The atmosphere was pleasant overall. However, there was an unfortunate incident at our table when a bottle was spilled on the floor, and it took a while for anyone to attend to it. Given all of this, I would rate the experience a low B.

On two stars. I visited marie livingstons steakhouse today. the steak was okay, not as good as I remember. the building falls into unrepair, it would not need much to fix it. our blessing was good.

Service and bar has went down the drain lately. Kitchen did a great job with steaks and apps. We had to squeeze out own ketchup packets into a saucer. Waiter forgot everything. Probably his name by now. Manager thought we were trying get over on her with our groupon. 75 meal with a 20 tip. Only two people...get your ! together
