Hilltop Country Store - Tallahassee

I always make it a point to stop here with every customer I show around my home. This is truly the best spot for lunch (and sometimes dinner) you can find along the way! We've visited many times and have enjoyed great conversations about the area and this landmark. They have the best Chicken Salad Sub ever!

I've been coming here since high school when it was still Newt's and the only place to buy beer on Sundays because Jefferson County was dry on that day, haha! It has really transformed into a fantastic restaurant. I had my first taste of fried green tomatoes here, along with many delicious subs. My mom, who was quite particular about her egg salad, absolutely loved her tuna salad as well. I've never had a bad meal here!

Everything on the menu is fantastic! Some of my personal favorites include the Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp, Chicken Tenders, and Fish. Should I go on? The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming! I absolutely love this place! Thankfully, we live nearby, but even if you don’t, it’s definitely worth the trip!

Hilltop is my GO TO place to eat whenever I decide to eat. Reliable prices and great food! I love a good Hilltop sandwich and tea!
