Crystal River Seafood - Tallahassee

The food is excellent! We ordered the plenty for two (that came with four sides we did applesauce, fried corn on the cob, grits, and coleslaw), a side of Mahi and fried mushrooms and green beans. We ended up with two loaded down to go boxes because we couldn't eat everything and are enjoying that snack now. For $70, it was more than well worth it! The service is great, fast and friendly, too!

I ordered pickup and my food came out of their kitchen as I was walking through the door. The calamari appetizer was okay, but the scampi fiesta was quite good: shrimp and scallops tossed in butter over a bed of tasty rice. Good crisp coleslaw as well.

The staff was friendly, the service was prompt and the food was good!! I ordered the buffalo shrimp w/ french fries and the fried corn. The sweet tea was just how I like it!!! SWEET SOUTHERN like : My mom had Fish and grits, okra and crabcakes. She enjoyed her food as well. This was a recommended spot fresh off the highway and it was worth it. The prices are reasonable as well.

This place is not Frills, but the food is fantastic!! You can't go wrong with one of the seafood options, but warn that you better come hungry or ready to take a box home. The portions are huge and a great value for the price. This was my first visit to the city and I searched places online. I'm so glad I chose this place because it was covered, affordable and tasty.

We drove home from vacation in Orlando and decided to stop here based on previous reviews. This place was a great find. The filled mushrooms were fantastic, filled with lots of crab meat and embroidered with cheese. We were surprised that part 6 was big mushrooms. They were the best we've ever eaten. I ordered the barley for one and my wife ordered the fish and grottos. Both plates were more food than we could eat and had to take home what we could not finish. The food was excellently fried and perfectly seasoned. The service was fantastic. My only disappointment was that we don't live nearby. This is really a seafood restaurant that I would recommend and would definitely be back when we go through again. Two thumbs to the staff for the high quality of this restaurant.
