Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Yesterday at 6 o'clock to dinner. my man and I decided to stop despite the other bad reviews, because we were driving for hours and starving. the whole experience was disappointing, because I love cracker barrel so much. when I was consecrated by the host to a table, there was in every section of the müll over the dining room floor. doesn't look like someone's got the floor all day. does not leave much hope as the kitchen can look. the couple next to me obviously bumped out from there so they could sit down. dirty tables everywhere without anyone cleaning them. my man and I sat on our table for almost 20 minutes and no one came by to take our drink order. Finally our server came to us trembling and overwhelmed that he was suffering because of the waiting period, but he was completely panic. he still did not ask us about our drinks or what we wanted to eat. another 15 minutes or so goes by and another waitress with a attitude asks us if we know what we want. we have placed our order and have just observed the chaos of the restaurant. most of the hired wore pants under the waist and had headphones in the ears, so they could not ask something like that if they needed it anyway. When we finally got our food, it was rough. I always command the hunch and knödel when I go into cracker barrel. it was watery and absolutely no taste. that was soggy. I ordered that I was cold. the manager went around and asked for people's experience, did not come to our table. I wish he had it. we will not be back to this place.

Decent service, could have been catered to a little bit better by the waiter that we had. Of course, everything is offset by the absolutely phenomenal cheesecake stuffed pancakes. While they are new, they are delicious and I'm not sure if I can go to Cracker Barrel ever again and not order them.

I was a dishwasher there and I can truly say there are 4 or 5 dishwashers there that actually care about getting clean dishes to the customers and keeping the dish room clean and sanitized.. I wouldn't eat there if I ain't in the dish room washing the dishes. supervisors are great except the prima Donna Shervin.. who pitched a fit because I was in a meeting but I left the dish room spotless but got a big dude who doesn't wanna move around but Everytime I show up at work he disappears for 20-30 minutes so I'm in the meeting prima Donna come get me outta the meeting AND there's no dishes still... we argued told me to clock out.. then proceeded to lie after that... then cracker barrel's lights went out so I didn't clock in and forgot to clock out but for some reason I asked prima Donna did he clock me out I asked 3 times and he lied saying yeah... guess what wasn't on my direct deposit??

I always come here cause the food is always good and the service is great.

We waited and waited, but none of the three waiters bothered to come to our table. Someone came in and dropped something at the table behind us without saying a word. The waitress at the table next to us also completely ignored us, and I noticed another waiter frequently passing in and out of the kitchen without acknowledging my partner, who even tried to get their attention. After waiting a while longer, we decided to leave. My partner stopped to mention something to the hostess as we exited, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time here. After writing this, I saw that they have a 2.5-star rating, which I think is way too generous.
