Denali Brewing Co. - Talkeetna

Very good service. eating was not amazing. nachos would have seen more toppings in when looking at the price and using jalepenos instead of fresh. the menu was different that what I expected from looking for google before, so easy to prepare. large beer/drink selection, but overall we preferred the main brewery location outside the city. the food was overpriced and that felt like a tourist trap in the regular after the Al-Brauen (the flagship) it loved there!

Whoever is the shrubmaster who smoked the brisket must be trained in Texas. the brisket had a perfect smoking ring, a savory bark and was very delicate. the rolls they were used for their brisket sandwiches were slightly grilled, with a buttery, sweet taste. one of the best brisket sandwiches we've ever had. the waitress was very nice and offered us some rehearsals of local apple wine and alcohol to help us decide which drinks to order. we first thought that the Denali brewer would be more concentrated on drinks and less on food. but it is very clear that they put so much love in both. I wish we lived closer to enjoy this place more often. when they visit talkeetna alaska, they must stop at this place.

A wonderful pub in the possession of the staff. the great men pour the beer and drink beside them perhaps more than they seem. we need to visit in the cold winter off season and have a more intimate experience. we had an amazing time with some of the locals to chat a kamin and learn more about their plans with the pub. I can't expect to visit again and see all the improvements, and bbq!

Great experience here. the personal was really nice and friendly. georgette was our waitress and was super friendly and welcomed us quickly and got our drinks. her homemade ginger soda was amazing. the veggie burger, sweet potato wedge and the pulled pork sandwich all had a great taste. thanks young for a fabulous lunch on a rare sunny afternoon!

Stopped by for lunch after doing a tour in Talkeetna. The large outside patio looked great to have an outdoor lunch and enjoy their popular drinks. The patio had about a 15 minute wait, but there was open seating indoors. I wanted to eat on the patio, so opted for the short wait. Our server was slow to come by to take the initial drink and appetizer orders. She also didn't come by often throughout the meal and admittedly forgot to put in one of the orders. She must've been having an off day as the rest of the servers looked to be very friendly and efficient. Ordered their blueberry mojito as it was recommended by several people when heard we were coming to Talkeetna. This was a great recommendation as it had a great blueberry taste that was balanced with the alcohol. Also, ordered two of their draft beers that were equally as good. For the food, ordered the nachos, brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad, and garden bowl salad. Food came out after about 15 minutes. I wasn't as impressed with the food, but I wasn't disappointed as it's a brewpub. The sandwiches tasted ok, but the plating was very bland and didn't look appealing. The salads and nachos tasted ok. The blueberry cheesecake tasted pretty good. Overall, I'd still recommend coming here for the drinks and ambiance. The food was just something to have with the drinks, so my expectations weren't too high. I didn't have the best service, but the rest of the waitstaff appeared to be doing a great job.
