Contribuiți la feedbackEven though this restaurant is small and tucked away in a corner of a market complex, it is always busy and well-loved by locals. I have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. However, be prepared for slower service due to its size. Patience is key, but the food is worth the wait.
It is quite old a restauarnt (about 19 years! but still holds the top slot in Talcher. It is very popular though in a difficult to find corner. It is owned and operated by a keralite but served excellent North Indian food. You have... very strange timings. They close after each session and open after a long break. It is closed between 1530 and 1930. There is also a long break between breakfast and lunch. The explanation is that this break is for proper cleaning of the place.
Talcher Café offers a variety of confectionery items. I'm one of the very good lovers. I looked into the café and had a wonderful experience in it.
Foods are really good lips smashed, although bit overdosed with lots of oil... Tandoori Chicken is too good.. Still... the best at Talcher... hats of two guys who manage this food... I have two proposals: (1) The dishes must be replaced as melamine is already outdated, not that healthy too, (2) the rate of food is a little over price, as far as the overall standard is concerned.
Talcher Cafe is one of the oldest and best restaurants in town. I have been going there since I was in 8th grade, and the food and service have never disappointed me. I even celebrated my 18th birthday there, creating many unforgettable memories.
