Meşhur Eminönü Balık - Taksimo

Tourist trap serving pre-cooked and reheated seafood. We had cupra (gilt-head bream , barbunya (red mullet and karides keremit (shrimps on clay pan . Fish was dry and tasteless. Shrimps from the fridge were submerged into boiling-hot sauce just before serving, so the shrimps were cold(! inside while swimming in hot liquid. Stay away from this place.

Not good ratio between price and quality of food. Very expensive. Wonderful view.

Prices are so high and the waiter was so rude to me when we did not want to order they treat tourist like atm's so bad

There would be no star i would. Had to wait about 45mns for the food, fries had weird taste, toilets were disgusting, and on top of it they changed the price on the bill!! Ended up by paying nearly double and claim they can't speak English. Untrustworthy.

Right on the water under the bridge across the Golden Horn. I was able to check several traditional dishes off my must try in Turkey list. Most dishes are around $5. No alchohol.
