Madam Woo Takapuna

For appetizers, we shared coconut crusted spring rolls, prawn, pork, and coriander dumplings, and pork wontons served with a spicy sweet dipping sauce. All of these starters were delicious and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we tried the Assam Chicken served with coconut rice and the Percik Chicken with Malaysian slaw, both of which were tasty and had wonderful textures. The food and service were remarkable, and I would love to return to try more dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious foods in a beautiful setting. The hawker rolls were the bomb. Staff are very attentive and helpful. They offer traditional tea as well. Definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful first experience at this restaurant when my friends and I went for lunch. We chose the lunch for 2 option, which was excellent value and left us feeling satisfied (always a plus!). I would definitely return whenever I'm in the area. We ordered five spice fried chicken, prawn dumplings, beef rendang, twice-cooked eggplant with wok-fried greens, and stir-fried pork belly. And don't forget to try the coconut rice!

I had one of the best dining experiences in Auckland at Madam Woo. Every course, from the appetizers to the dessert, showcased incredible quality, flavor, and skill in the dishes. Our waitress, Amber, was wonderful and provided excellent recommendations. If you appreciate bold flavors and a fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend making Madam Woo your next dining destination.

Petty cool restaurant, the deco take me back to my childhood when I was living in Asia, after traveling so many yrs, extremely excited to find place that people appreciate Southeast Asia causing, the menu mixed with Malaysia, Vietnam, Cantonese style, we ordered the $35/person menu, we get to 2 Entrée with salad , 2 main, be noted addition charges for certain dish but still reasonable, we had mushroom Spring roll, and fire chicken for entrees, they were delicious, pork ribs and soft crabs for main, the ribs are soft and tender, the soft crab is a bit salty, the Vietnam coffee not as strong as origin of the mango coconut ice cream with Salty coconut crispy very original very nice. Over all we enjoy so much.
