Contribuiți la feedbackThe curry set plate was very good, it was delicious, healthy and fill. I also had a mother and Rosin Muffin, which was also excellent, beautiful consistency and not excessively sweet. The plate and the muffin cost me a little less than 1400yen, which is very reasonable for Japan. All in all Some of the best vegan foods I had so far in Japan if you are somewhere near this place, I would recommend in
Totally loved this place. If you walk the Shikoku 88 pilgrimage, you should definitely stop. Lunch is at 1000 ¥ per set, servings are very fair and taste is quite large. The deserts are also amazing. It is an oriental vegan restaurant (no garlic, no roots).
The owner of this cafe is very sweet and prepares a lunch-plate menu that I think changes weekly or so. Be assured, the food is delicious. The owner said about 90% of the ingredients they are used are grown locally, and organic. We came back the day after our first visit, and agreed that there were some of the best food we found on all Shikoku. If you are in or near Takamatsu, it is definitely worth coming here, and maybe up to the summit of Yashima Berg while you are in the area. If you can't speak Japanese and don't read the menu, just order the lunch set I'd say, or some sweetness if you're not too hungry. If you arrive before 4:00, unless it is unusually busy, you should be able to order lunch. Updated by previous review on 2019-04-21
This small café may be easy to overlook due to its unassuming location, but it is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. When we arrived late, we decided to let the owner choose our dishes. Despite my initial reservations, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the ingredients in our meals, each bite was delicious and diverse. The grilled aubergines were a standout, even for someone who doesn't typically enjoy them, and the seitan was exceptionally tender. For appetizers, we enjoyed a light pea soup, and for dessert, a cheesecake ice cream and a purin, a Japanese version of crème caramel that was particularly tasty in its recreation of the creamy original. The café also sells sable biscuits, which are highly recommended, so be sure to purchase one before you leave!
The curry set plate at this restaurant was excellent - it was tasty, healthy, and satisfying. I also tried a nut and raisin muffin, which was also delicious with a perfect consistency and not too sweet. The total cost for the plate and muffin was just under 1400 yen, which is a very reasonable price in Japan. Overall, some of the best vegan food I have had in Japan so far. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
