Must go. Amazing miso soup and small dishes. Potato salad, squid, liver with juniper, caramel and soft roe (milk). You have English menu and staff was super friendly. The place is like a family business. Really affordable.

Every single dish we ordered tastes fabulous. All of them a fresh, perfectly cooked with the right spice. I love her fried red snapshots and eggplants. Services are welcoming and they are very friendly for foreigners.

Good food and cheap. the English menu does not tell the truth that you get a large bucket of rice and large bowl of soup with the set! and not be shy, only at the bar table and order which appetiser you want.

Loveeeee this place and its very affordable. There is one lady there who speaks English and she is very kind and helpful. Basically you usually order one miso set dish and it comes with rice and some pickles. On top of that you can look at the range of side dishes they have available there and pick what you like for around 300-600¥ depending on the dish. English menus are available but you need to ask. Very popular but they're very accommodating to tourists.
