The ground floor features an ice cream shop and a new food shop, while the top floor houses a full-service restaurant. There are many options available, but unfortunately, the food items were disappointing. During our visit, we tried the fish and chips, carbonara, chicken curry, cheese pizza, and fish stew, among other dishes. The location is beautiful, but the staff could be more courteous. I would recommend sticking to the ice cream and snacks.
I wish I had discovered this place earlier during my visit, as I would have loved to come back again. Although the café has a small storefront that may not catch your attention at first, I really enjoyed my dining experience here. I ordered the halo halo, which turned out to be the best I had tried during my trip. I was able to choose two ice cream flavors, and I went with ube and chocolate. The toppings were not the traditional ones you find in halo halo, but I actually enjoyed the unique twist. They added honey, honey-cassava chips, and a mix of fresh fruits like watermelon, mango, and banana, making it delicious and surprisingly not overly sweet. Someone in my group ordered a fish sandwich, expecting it to be a fried filet, but it was actually grilled. It was a pleasant surprise to find the food here to be different from the usual fare, with everything tasting fresh and light. The only downside was that I only discovered this gem during my last hours on the island.
My husband, niece, and I had dinner at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and delicious flavors of the food. The presentation of the dishes was also very impressive.
The breakfast is incredibly good portions, cheap, wonderful products! we loved it so much, we have breakfast here every day! I enjoyed the mango butter (also as a purchase of a glass,) but I guess it can't be for everyone.
We went Buzz Cafe this morning at 10:00 to have breakfast and the first thing they do is bring the afternoon menu after wait 10 minutes for the waiters when the place was empty. The breakfast was awful, we ordered the big breakfast with juice...and the first thing we asked was juice with no ice, of course the brought with ice saying “ sir this is your juice, no ice “ a joke. The quality of the products is horrible, they put you mango and herbs with butter instead of numer butter, the honey for the pancakes was the worst I never tried in my life, as the cheap bread they put with it. The music at the restaurant was annoying the whole time there and to finish the nightmare they charge you 10% of “ service commission “ service?? The service was sitting and doing their nails during the whole time without clean the heads after to serve you. I don’t know what the people who gave good rate to this place before use to have breakfast or meals but definitely I suggest to stay away from this restaurant please.
