Celebrated the end of a 4 year posting in Taiwan. Good combination of fresh ingredients, proven recipes, and what I think would be a very very hot flame resulting in an excellent meal where each dish stood on its own.
Foods are really good especially sausage, mushroom and some fried foods. Desserts are also really nice. Bowl, chopstick and place are clean. Staff services is also good.
We were only three people, so we couldn't order much. The food is amazing, really miss Taiwanese food when you live abroad! The staff is very nice and hospitality! Would like to come back, hopefully bring more people and order more! Very recommended to book and preorder most of their dishes as they are really amazing! Some dishes are only available on preorder.
Two of us came for lunch and the menu is not for small group as they specialize in banquet delicacies. We did not order the signature dishes such as red crab of sticky rice or duck soup, but the aal and deep roasted sweet fish and shrimp balls with a plate of bean sprouts. All very good, authentic and grounded. One of the waiters who is probably the next generation as he looks was too polite. From a tourist point of view there are some ways to improve: try to expand the menu to provide small groups or couples as well as higher quality rice (Taiwan has many high quality rice).
