Old New Taiwanese Cuisine - Tainan City

We invite related people for my high-time celebration. it is glad that we choose Old-New taiwanese cuisine restaurant. eating is excellent! every dish looks not only good, but also tasty! our guests have told me that they enjoy it very much! the server has introduced all the meals, the names and what it means when placed on the table. server also helps to pack rest as they know, the characteristic Taiwanese cuisine are so much of any dish that looks good, we had floor to ceiling windows.:D we ordered two tables, it costs 16800 nt per table. I think the price is reasonable and deserved!

We were here for a group dinner. It was a set menu. Food was reasonably good. Service was fast and efficient. The venue was comfortable. Definitely a great choice for group sharing tons of good Taiwanese food.

We had seafood here. And i should say it wasn’t that special. I think you can get much better around

A fabricated grand dining environment that is pretentious rather than genuine. Food is decent but the taste can be found elsewhere. The drink and dessert are perhaps the highlights of the meal. Much prefer the OG store that is smaller in scale but more personal and more down-to-earth.

Was super excited to try this restaurant at first as it has been highly recommended. However, was a bit disappointed when we left. The good: Place elegantly decorated with styles from the 60's and 70's. Service was polite and prompt. Ingredients were of high quality. Needs to be Improved: Even though we submitted our allergy list 3 days in advance, it was not accommodated and the normal dishes were served. A few dishes (beef, scallop, .. were overcooked, and the fish was not fresh so has a strong pungent smell and taste. We were incorrectly explained that the different pricing menu is based only on the quality of the ingredients, which is not 100% true as we later found out that it would correspond to the number of dishes as well.
