Freds Book Cafe - Tagbilaran

Very cheap for a hip café that it is, but the food was rather average and the coffee was terrible. Tuna carbonara was pretty good and I recommend it. All the good was sweet in a weird way, including lettuce salad and the carbonara.

The place has a new look, and it feels more spacious and less stuffy. Still, it is regularly packed woth people. The books though may need a little bit more variety. Food here have significantly improved but maintains its affordable pricing. It offers free WiFi. Sadly, it has very limited parking space.

As a book lover, I am absolutely captivated by this place. It's filled with books all around, and of course, the food is fantastic. This was my first visit, but I definitely plan to return to try the rice dishes I missed out on.

I really enjoy the ambiance of the café, but I would appreciate it even more if they added more books to their collection. That said, their selection is superb, featuring works by authors like Dan Brown and George Orwell. Additionally, the food is excellent!

A nice café with a cool atmosphere. The fries (priced at 95.00) are definitely a must-try! The prices are also quite reasonable compared to other cafés in the area.
