Uno de los mejores lugares en Tacuarembó para tomar la merienda. El lugar es sencillo, la comida es rica y la atención es muy agradable. This is one of the best places to have an afternoon snack in Tacuarembó. The place is simple and nice, the food is good and the staff is agreeable. Just remember that in Uruguay dinner is served after 8 pm, so this place has other type of food, scones, cakes, the classic alfajores and empanadas . I specially recommend the carrot cake and the alfajor de maicena as it is called in Uruguay. It 's a cornstarch cookie filled with dulce de leche (a jam that is made with milk and sugar) with lined coconut on the sides.
