Mod Pizza - Tacoma

Great place to have a pizza exactly the way you want it! I understand at Papa Murphy?s you choose your items and take home and still have to cook your own pizza? That I don?t understand when it costs more than other pizza places and don?t have an oven to cook it. MOD stacks whatever you choose and cooks it in a brick oven!! That is a good pizza ?

Nice staff, clean well maintained restaurant. Ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and salad and both were good. Fair prices. Much better in every way from the Lakewood location.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience this evening. I placed an order for my family at 6:18 and the website said to arrive at 6:40 for pick up. I got there at 6:42 and when I walked in, the woman behind the cutting station greeted me and asked who I was picking up for. I have my partner?s name, Jenna, and she looked at all the orders already waiting to be picked up, but didn?t seem to see it so said it will be up soon. I took a seat and waited, not to worried because I saw it was busy. About 20 minutes pass and my order still hadn?t been called. By this time, people who had come in and ordered after me were getting their pizzas. The worker at the cutting station switched to another worker and she went through all of the boxes waiting to be picked up. She picks up one of the orders that had been sitting there since before I got there and calls out my partner?s name. It was now 7 and it had been sitting there the whole time and now it was cold. By the time I go to say something, the workers are helping other people and I didn?t want to wait any longer than I had since my kids were starving at this point. Then when I got home, we sat down to eat and one of the pizzas was basically the toppings on crust there was almost no cheese and it was crispy. I?m rather upset seeing as my family has a lot of food allergies and this was one of the few places we could trust to make a delicious allergen free pizza and we spent almost $50 on this food which was a treat for us. I attached pictures of the pizza plenty of toppings, practically no cheese. I have worked in pizza before and I understand having a busy night, but I don?t understand how my order wasn?t seen.

Great ? place if you want to Mico manage your pizza making process. Recommend to people who like excessive amounts of control.

The dine-in experience is nearly eclipsed by the mobile orders here and the staff is working feverishly but in the last hour we've seen 3 orders taken from line and have 3 more to go before we get to place our order. Those who have placed their orders are still waiting. Management or owners need to implement a priority system between online ordering and in-house. They lost our business tonight.
