Indochine Asian Dining Lounge - Tacoma

Mediocre American-style Asian cuisine with zero authenticity. Strong, excellent drinks and great atmosphere as well as service saved the night. But the food... wow... second time here and it could not have been worse. Then they have the audacity to charge upscale prices for poor quality food. What a bummer way to spend our 25 year anniversary. Lesson learned

We celebrated a 60th birthday at Indochine this week and our timing kept changing but the staff was very accommodating. I had dropped off the cake earlier in the day and they served it. The food was really good and our waitress, Marielle, was just awesome! She was attentive and enthusiastic about our party. We enjoyed the large round table that is off to the side, with curtains around it. It made for a more intimate, festive atmosphere for our group. I would totally enjoy another large gathering there but I also cant wait to take my husband!

After making reservations for our party of 8 close to 2 weeks before, we were seated in your “backroom” which has zero ambiance! Our waitress had no concept of timing when ordering etc. from drinks, to appetizers to dinner. And we had to ask for everything....water, drink refills, condiments etc. we even had to ask for plates! Worse dining experience ever I picked this spot for my daughter's 21st bday celebration.

Service wasn't that great. We had reservations and were met by the host who had a terrible attitude and seemed put out to seat us. Once seated we waited 20 minutes for a waiter to come by and take our order. Although, friendly, he didn't check us more than once during the time there. Once eating, we waited 38 minutes to receive our check. Another wait staff had to get it for us. The food was subpar but the drinks were great!
