Duke's Seafood Tacoma

A wonderful meal and a beautiful view! We were well taken care of and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday.

Had reservations for 6:45 pm, so the place was busy. The check in greeters acted like they didn’t want to be there. Not a smile among them. Seating was fine and the staff was flexible in offering a number of possible booths/tables. The food order was slow to come out and the dish (salmon sandwich) was just ok. Noise level was high….conversation was difficult. Meal was over priced. I like Duke’s but this last experience was not a good one.

Great service, fantastic atmosphere and a terrific menu. We choose to celebrate our anniversary there and we're very happy with the experience.

Salmon Bites appetizer is amazing. Had friends visiting from Florida and wanted to share Pacific Northwest seafood with them. Consistency of Duke’s did not disappoint. They loved the clam chowder and their halibut and salmon entrees, and left completely impressed. The Ruston Way waterfront location is as pretty as it gets.

Everything was wonderful! Each of us enjoyed our salad, we all ordered something different. We were celebrating a birthday, so we shared two desserts. Delicious. Best of all was our waitperson, Ashley. She knew the menu well and answered our questions. I'm already wanting to return.
