Village Pizza Inn - t Pleasant

One of my favorite pizza places in the entire state . Cold beer , awesome food, and a cool little restaurant

An institution, and rightly so! We stop here anytime we are nearby.

I 'm giving 2 stars for our server and that 's it and I 'm being generous but she was extremely polite and friendly and did her job absolutely correctly. We ended our vacation home to Ohio from myrtle beach to see the mothman museum and see point pleasant and wanted to eat at a local place instead of a chain or fast food. We picked this place due to their reviews. We walked in and there was nobody there and at least 5 employees standing there and nobody said anything to us. We had to approach the employees to seat ourselves. The food was not good. Frozen everything. My chicken parm came with noodles, frozen garlic bread and at best canned generic pasta sauce aka their signature homemade sauce ...I 'm Italian and make all my own sauces and this sauce was bland, tasteless and generic. On top of it, the chicken was 3 frozen chicken tenders w mozzarella cheese on top. It was literally the same chicken tenders my picky eating son ordered and he didn 't like them either. The loaded tots weren 't cooked all the way through and it was like a slop of cheese, frozen peppers and just not good. The cheeseburger pizza my other son got was mediocre at best as well. Ive had non cooking friends that make homemade pizza for fun make a better pizza. I 'm not trying to be mean and didn 't wanna make a thing while there especially for our waitress bc it 's not her fault but I 'm finding it hard to believe these reviews I 've read about this food. It 's crappy bar food at best and very over priced. If you want to price your food as high as you do, at least provide quality restaurant food. This was all frozen and ready to make food and we were the only ones there. Point pleasant was small and had very few options and we choose your place. We even told the employee that finally sat us we were from out of town etc. I believe in good business and this was a total waste of I 'm sorry. I think you should get yourself a real chef or reword your menu which talks up your food slot. Very false advertisement. I don 't know our severs name but she was wonderful either way making this experience not a complete bust.

This was my family and I first time in Point Pleasant. The food was fantastic, our server Jess was just amazing always had a full drink. My family and I didn't care for the sites in the area, but we will definitely be back for The Village Pizza. Awsome atmosphere with the vibe, felt really good being there. All positive vibes. Jess recommend the cheeseburger pizza. I finally found a pizza I enjoyed to eat. Honestly my youngest and I split a 13 pie. My oldest daughter had the baked spaghetti with cheese, she never had sweet spaghetti before and she said it was good but even better reheated for supper at home. The portions are very decent and you won't walk away hungry. Keep up the fantastic job.

We ordered the mothman pizza. It was creatively delicious. On this day, service was warm n cheerful but perhaps a lil slower than typical as waitress admitted a person called in(dishwasher) and there were several tables that needed cleaned up. We arrived around 2p so was after lunch crowd I would recommend one of the locals near mothman museum suggested this place for its good food
