Johnny Rockets - Syracuse

There were only three people in the restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. The food arrived in under five minutes, which made me comment to the waitress about how quick she was. It seemed fast, but I think they just rushed to get my order out. The fries were warm, but the meat looked almost artificial, all stuffed into a greasy bun. It’s not the JR I remember. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The food was quite disappointing.

The atmosphere was also lacking; the waitstaff no longer danced, and instead of the classic 50s and 60s music we expected, they played songs from the 80s. Overall, the experience was disappointing, as Johnny Rockets has lost its original charm. We ordered a burger, a hot dog, and two milkshakes, but the food did not live up to expectations. The burgers were paper-thin and greasy, and the hot dog had an unusual taste that we didn't enjoy. On the bright side, the milkshakes were delicious—particularly the chocolate malt, which I'd rate five stars. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return. It's disheartening to see something so special and unique transformed in a way that diminishes its nostalgic appeal. Johnny Rockets was a small piece of the comforting 50s era that we could hold onto in today's fast-paced world, and now that feels lost.

This was my first time at the restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! Our server, Jamaal, was fantastic and had a great sense of humor. I joked that I wanted to take him home in a to-go box! LOL. The food was incredibly delicious. I can't wait to come back!

My favorite place to take my family when it comes to dinning in the mall. I do miss the days when they were in the old location in the mall because I how they used sing and dance along to the music. The food and the atmosphere is always superb. This place deserve more than 5 stars? that how great is. From the managers to the servers everything is great. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know who come visit Syracuse.

Very friendly staff, baby friendly, and good food! Staff was very polite and thorough. Didn't wait for a highchair didn't fret when my 1yo was a little messy. Didn't even have to ask for a refill it just showed up!
