Golden City Chinese - Syracuse

This is undoubtedly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Central New York. I've tried many of them while working around the city, and this place truly stands out.

The American-style Chinese food here is consistently great, always served hot when I pick it up, and my orders are always accurate. It's also really easy to place an order over the phone. I do wish they had a nice dining area for eating in.

The food is good, and they offer free tea. However, I felt more like a number than a valued customer. It seems that no matter how long you've been coming here, the cash register is the main focus.

Our family orders from this restaurant every few weeks, and we’re consistently pleased. The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. The ambiance is lovely and family-friendly, making it a great place to enjoy a meal together. They seem well-prepared for takeout as well.
